I was thinking about getting one, especially for all those toothy species . Do they work good?

They do work well. On the lower end of the $$ scale, I like the berkley gizmos. On the higher end, you can't be the boga's.

I wouldn't recommend the Rapala models. They seem to injure the fish more than the others. Bad jaw design in my opinion.

Second the boga grip for being the best bar none. 100bucks or so though, and berkley is always a good product. If you get any of them put a small bouy on it so it will float cause you never know when the fish goes nuts.

Thanks for the help. I picked up a berkley this past weekend. For me its all about handling the fish as little as possible and releasing it healthy. If it can do that its worth the money, thanks.
