Lindzi iboats is Leaving us

I am posting with mixed emotions to inform the iboats members that we are about to have one of our BEST people is moving on to a higher calling.

Lindzi iboats has to be the absolute best administrative support person we have had here on iboats.

You know all those "unique" problems that we have encountered such as..... avatars not working, signature pictures not working, changing screen names, accounts not acting right and many more .......... Lindzi is the "go to" person for the moderation team. She has fixed everything we have thrown at her and FAST! Philster..... Lindzi is the one who worked hard on your signature

Lindzi has graduated college (Utah State University) and has been offered a career enhancing position. We are all going to miss her. I am sure her new employer will be spoiled by her dedication the same way we are.

You know those great iboats cartoons and our Facebook page have been her responsibility and she has really helped iboats grow.

There is currently a post in the Moderator section however, this needed to be announced across the forum.

I feel Lindzi has set a new standard in service to the forums and I wish her the very best of luck in her new job.

Please join in and wish Lindzi a bon voyage and much success in her future.

Well done, Lindzi, and congratulations on completing college! Not only have you done a good job, but apparently you've earned the respect and admiration of coworkers, friends and plenty of iboats colleagues. We all know that we are responsible for our own wake, and it appears that you have left a good one.

I echo all that Bob has said about Lindzi's service here. We have had good Admin support before, but never has it been of the caliber of what Lindzi has done. I am confident that we will continue to get great support from Admin but we will miss Lindzi dearly.

Kinda' funny - Lindzi is the only Admin name that I know off the top of my head ... but it's because I look forward to the cartoons so much!

Congratulations on graduating, the new position and such high praise from the mods! It's great to hear someone being so successful early in life, and we all wish you continued success in your next position. Thanks for helping make the boards so much fun.

Wow, thank you everyone! It has been a real pleasure being part of the forums, I am going to miss working here at iboats. Some of you might be familiar with toneeees, he is going to be taking over my position as an iboats Admin. He has done a lot of "behind the scenes" for our forums and has been a huge help to me. He has already done great things for the forums and I am confident he'll continue to do so.

Just to add some clarity: As much as I would love to take credit for the iboats Boating Cartoons, I was just the message girl. We have someone who creates the cartoons for us each month and then I post them on here. With that being said, toneeees will be sure to continue to post them each week

Thanks for all you do to make this forum great, Mods and members. This has been a very rewarding experience for me, nothing beats the world of boating. I will be sure to pop in every now and then. Thanks!

Amazing that iBoats would just let such a great person walk out the door.

FWIW, iboats fought very hard to keep her. The fact was, as I understand it, that this opportunity more closely aligned with Lindzi's edumacation and career path, so she just had to do it.
