i have a classic 50 45hp and i am convinced that properly doing a linc and sync on the engine will make it idle and run much better. Will someone please post directions on how to execute this. Also i dont know a lot about what i am doing or looking at so please make it easy for someone who is learning this for the first time. thanks so much!

Re: linc and sync

There are a lot of steps to a link and sync and most settings are specific to the motor involved. You really need a shop manual to get this information. A Mercury OEM shop manual is the best manual to get. Once you have a manual, you can ask about any particular steps you don't understand or want more information on.
