If you are going to use it once or twice, fine. Say on a vacation or the like. I wouldn't try leaving the boat in the water with that set-up. It should be thoroughly flushed after every use. Run it on muffs for at least 15 minutes after the engines warms and the t-stat opens up. You don't want brine eating anything in there. Salt accelerates galvanic corrosion so you want to eliminate it as soon as possible. <br /><br /> I have run my fresh-water boats in salt before and have flushed them to the extreme- no problems as of yet. <br /><br />UFM82
