I've owned a 1995 Rinker Fiesta Vee 265 for 5 years. Down in the bilge I have what I think is a limber hole. To the left in the front picture is the drain hole. I've never had water come in from the front or anywhere else through it, but what happens is if I do get water in the bilge for one reason or another, water does just pools here and sits. I can feel what I think is a tiny hole in the middle, too small for me to even put my finger in.
Obviously I know the long term issues/concerns with potential water in this area but I'm debating whether or not to just seal this off. I have a new, working bilge in the front cabin under the steps and have never seen any signs of moisture or water anywhere in the front cabin. Any thoughts on just sealing this off?
After searching some more I found a previous thread on here about a Wellcraft with something similar:
