Park lights work fine. Turn signals fine. park lights and turns signals together, they flash alternately. First left then right then let then right, etc. Plus the marker lights flash. It is hooked up yo a 2003 Chevy 1500 Silerado. The wiring is all correct on the trailer andconnected at the plug correctly. Inoticed the problem last night and rewired the trailer today. The problem is still there.

Sounds like a grounding problem. Make sure each light socket is grounded to the trailer frame and the frame is connected to the light plug ground wire.

Thank you for the quick reply. The ground is good. That is one of the things I worked on today. But the marker lights shouldn't flash. And the turn signal should work seperately, not left right left right. It onlt does it when the tail lights or the brake is applied.

I'll try this. I'll run seperate ground wires to each tail light from where the white wire is connected. I'll let you know the results.

YES. I ran seperate grounds to each tail light and then a jumper between the two mounting bolts on each light. It worked. Apparently what I thought was a good chassis ground was not. Thanks gspig, I,m off to Seneca Lake now. The chassis was enough ground for one thing at a time, but could'nt handle the current for multiple things. The fish are awaiting me.

I knew that. I just got done rewiring it and thought "I had it good, it couldn't be the ground". BUT I did not. So when I went to Forum and the reply was ground I had to go back and do the sure way of grounding every light. Yes I saw the error of my ways. It does not take much to make an insuffient ground. But all is fine now with that. I have to try to fix my choke solenoid linkage. It broke when I tryed to restart in middle of the lake today. Taking the cowl off and manually choking isn't as fun as sitting in the driver's seat and pushing the key switch.
