someone obviously hooked it up wrong so I need to start over. Using 4 pin connector (white, brown, yellow & green) on model ModuLite HD 119190 / 119191 only green and yellow wires are hooked up to car’s taillights. White ground wire has red and brown wires spliced into it..

Cars left side taillights have red, black, yellow and brown wires at harness

Cars right side taillights have red, black, green and what appears to be teal

Whats the correct set up here ?

Yellow to yellow on the left ?
Green to green on the right ?
Red to red on the left
Brown to brown on the left ?

Not sure which colors go to which automotive wires. A set of directions would be a good idea. It also depends on whether you have the euro-style auto lights or something else. Not every converter works on every car/truck.

Euro-style lights mean a separate bulb for turn signals and brake lights. The whole point of the converter is to turn those into a single filament on the trailer.

The trailer lights are two filament bulbs. The heavier filament is for the blinkers and brake lights. The trailer wire colors are green for left blinker/brake, yellow for right blinker/brake and brown for tail lights. The brown wire must go to both signal lights. White wire is ground to both lights, or ground the trailer chassis.

Not sure if that helped or hindered.
