Life expectancy/mixing fuel stabilizers

Hello:
Two questions please:
What is the average life expectancy (Hrs.) for a 2006 Yamaha F150TXR that is not abused, properly maintained and winterized?
I accidentally mixed two different fuel stabilizers, "Yamalube fuel stabilizer & conditioner plus" with "Sta-Bil marine". Should this be a problem? Thanks.

That's a good question. When I buy a motor I maintain it carefully and fully expect it to operate for 10 or 20+years. My Yamaha 90HP is a 1999 and it's mostly like new, mechanically. My 3HP Tanaka is 20+ years old and pushes my canoe just like a new one. The life of a saltwater motor would expect to be shorter than a freshwater motor. The life of a saltwater outboard used for daily commercial fishing or crabbing would most likely be even shorter. Buy a shop manual for your motor, study up on how to maintain it, and it may well outlast you! Regarding those fuel stabilizers, there should be no problem mixing them, they're mostly Naphtha, Alcohol, Mineral Spirits, Petroleum Distillates, etc. Good Luck!
