Oprah and Lance needed more publicity as there quality of life has been declining.

Lance... Yep.
Oprah... Don't think her, her relatives, or anybody she likes will ever want for anything. People with a net worth of 2.7 billion, and their "OWN" television network, usually don't.

Re: Lets talk some 'Armstrong'

i liked lance even if he was taking performance drugs. i could lay back on the sofa watching the pain on his face as he peddled up hill and i felt better about being a normal secure type of guy that didnt require all the sacrifices to feel special. its like watching a super model eating a salad. the true fact is i would rather be around intresting happy real people then people who have to be the best no matter what the cost as most are jerks in real life.
I do find some questions intresting like. Did the drugs cause the cancer?. Why didnt they reward the person in second place the yellow shirt or are they worried that the person who was second may not have a clean test result?. Where does a person whos not a scientist get a drug that can not be detected?.

I guess the drugs is one part of this....and I suppose everyone has something in their system at one time or another affecting them up or down.
What really gets me is the history of the way he treated and bullied and manipulated just about everyone around him while denying this for himself.
Its one thing to partake on your own...knock yourself out, its your own risk, etc and many of those guys did (Landis, Hamilton, etc, etc).
However when you start putting Lancy babys level of abuse self-righteousness on others around you...thats a different game in my books.....he's now not just a cheater and liar but he also the national poster boy for bullies.
I think everyone can forgive a personal mistake or two....but his mistakes went well beyond personal went he put upon everyone else.
The publicity around this will undoubtedly get him booked to a few appearances (paying I'm sure) and so goes the route of publicity and celebrities I suppose.
I can't think of any event that he would now compete in that he wouldn't get booed right off the road, or track or whatever.

Re: Lets talk some 'Armstrong'

Every time someone accused him of cheating/doping, he sued the hell out of them to financially ruin them even though they were actually telling the truth the whole time.

That's the part that really gets me. He only cared about himself and he still only cares about himself. He wouldn't be doing this interview if there wasn't something about it that helps him.

Dunno, he didn't kill anybody. The lying about others when they came after him is certainly the worst part to me. I don't really care if he doped. He was a crooked athlete in a crooked sport and everyone knew it, even then. They just couldn't prove it. I believe him when he says it was a level playing field. He's not the first to say that. i.e. the only chance you have to win is to do what everybody else is doing to gain an advantage. In that field of crooked riders, nobody without that advantage stood a chance. Dunno...

How about Lance suing people when they spoke against him?
How Lance Armstrong sued Irish assistant who tried to speak out about doping | Irish Sports | IrishCentral

This is just one example of many. He did everything he could to ruin people that got in his way.

He was more than just a crooked rider. He was/is a sociopath.

I wonder if his use of steroids had something to do with his testicular cancer.

The best comment I've heard about this is: "The guy cheated in a sport that nobody gives a crap about".

End of story. Dismissed...!
