Latitude of Galveston is 29* N and latitude of most everything in NC is 30+*N so actually, it is "up". Guess I'm just anal. With that small difference, "across" would be more descriptive.

I am in a bathing suit .. I don't think I was nekkid at that time. But I have been known to get nekkid in a boat.

Actually I'm in SOUTH Carolina, not NC. But the Carolinas ARE north of Galveston, TX. Anything from Jax, FL up is north of Galveston, TX.
