Legal catfish in CT?

I was fishing on the CT. river a couple of days ago and my dad caught a catfish. I didn't know what the legal limit was so we put it back. When I got home I looked in the CT. Anglers Guide and could not find any info. on legal size or creel limits. Does anyone know what they are?

Hard to imagine catfish being considered a "protected" or "gamefish" species anywhere, as they breed and thrive so wonderfully.

Well, I got inspired to do some searching and apparenty CT has no size, bag or possession limits on catfish. Indicates to me that catfishing is not a big deal in CT.
