For any Lee's Ferry trout fans out there, just got back and the fishing was awesome! We caught about 30 fish over two days, kept our limit and they were tasty!

The Paria was running well and turned the Colorado Brown below the Ferry!

Took some cool pics up at the Lonely Dell?

Great pics DR. Haven't been there in many years. I need to get up to Powell again see that beautiful area more often:)

Re: Lee's Ferry

Cool! I love that area and I want to take my boat next time (both for the lake and the river) though I'm thinking about going in spring to avoid the heat.

Are there any size/HP restrictions on boats on the river?

Where did you stay? We rented the guest house at Cliff Dwellers last time and it was very comfortable. I'm thinking about camping next time so we can stay right on the lake (though I'm sure my better half would rather have a roof over her head )

Cheers!

Re: Lee's Ferry

Thanks,

We stayed at the Marble Canyon Lodge which is right at the top of the Lee's Ferry road. Nice enough. There are no restrictions on that stretch of river except they don't allow PWC. The trout fishing was AWESOME, we went again this weekend and cleaned house!
