have a 2 week old 1987 triton dynasty. believe it had a 2.3l in it as the omc outdrive says for a 2.3l. has a 4.3l gm now. anyway no reverse and no neutral. have read about the shift cable and can see where it seperates at the outdrive. have removed the outdrive and believe have no reverse also. kinda clunks in reverse, by hand mind u. know will need a cable. how much trouble to change and where do i get a reasonable priced one. now about my reverse. is this something i can do or not. also was some rubber chunks in the water passage in the outdive. removed decently i thought. have lots to learn for sure.
