I have noticed a muffled popping noise at idle the last few times out. After looking at some other threads and videos it looks like I have what is called a "lean sneeze". It is happening maybe a handful of times per minute. Once every 15 seconds or so. It runs mid and WOT strong and I can't hear anyhting at higher RPMs. Is this normal or is there a possible problem?

Try enriching the mixture screws a bit.

Probably need to pull and clean carbs if it ran well before
pilot jet/passages are plugging
then adjust like manual states in link and sync after reinstalling

Or you have a vacuum leak which is not very likely

The issue has not occured during the last three outings. I doubled the dose of ring free in the last two tanks coupled with starbrite fuel conditioner. Maybe it was a deposit issue? I have no idea but the sneeze is gone.
