Leaking Volvo exhaust yoke??...

Hi!
My 1979 260AQ Volvo (280 drive) is leaking when the boat is in the water..AND when flushing with the hose. I tried filling the yoke about 1/2 way with water, and notice drips coming from where the yoke attaches to the transom plate. (you have to stand on your head to see this...:)

Any ideas on how to fix this without pulling the engine/bell housing?...what a job that would be!!!

Thanks for the info...I'm new here...

Pulling the engine and the drive will be necessary. No way around it.

that's what I don't want to do..:)

If it leaks during flushing....it would seem to be a cracked yoke, or a leak where the rubber hoses attach to the yoke....are there any other possibilities?

the rubber hoses are in the front of the yoke, attached to the transom plate...so when I look at it from inside the boat, all i see is the dripping from the point where the yoke attaches to the plate....on the bottom.

I thought if it was leaking from where the rubberhose goes into the yoke, the water could drip down between the plate and yoke....I assume there's an o ring there

the exhaust yoke is #23...the rubber hoses are #29....(there are 2 on a 280 drive)

so, I see it dripping at the bottom between #23 and the transom plate, which is not numbered....
