Hey ya'll did a search but came up with nada so..... <br /><br />How in the world can I clean up the flywheel, stator, and other parts of magneto? I knew they were bad, but after I got the stuck flywheel off, I saw a gruesomely murdered outboard. At least that's what it looks like. <br /><br />The motor's a Merc, like it really matters a mess is a mess no matter what motor it is. But I'm familiar with you guys on here so I'm asking ya'll first. <br /><br />I'm thinking maybe acetone or paint thinner or mineral spirits, or maybe I'll steal my dad's jar of moonshine next time I'm over there
