Leak from spark plug??????

Hey guys! My 85 35hp merc is leaking from 1 of the 2 spark plugs. The one at the top i notcied that oil/gas or whatever it is was running down. I didn't see it with my own eye but i could just see where it ran down, what does that mean? Am i just flooding it real bad or what. I've been trying to figure out why it bogs then shut down. I rebuilt the carb. but it still leaks now i have that and the plug now. Whats up<br /><br />p.s. The 2 shops i went to for a manual were out and i don't have a credit card so i can't order one off the net so as of now i'm lost with 3 days to go for the fishing rodeo. This sucks

Its more than likely water leaking from the water jacket gasket around the spark plug.

maybe the compression rings are shot on that spark plugs try picking up some new plugs

your fuelpump diafram may have a hole in it .

Could that be why my motor makes a shutter bogs down and then shuts off if there is a hole in the diaphram. My carb is very clean other than the leak on the bottom and from the shaft.
