I am trying to determine how a rain leak is getting inside my 1988 Sea Ray 270 DA. The leak is coming in from the starboard side.
The sliding window molding/seals are very old and cracked. Unfortunately I cannot find duplicates or even something workable. Having said that the same is true on the port side window and no leaks. I am wondering if the seal around the window is bad, but not sure.
The good news is that the water ends up in the head on a shelf and pretty easy to take care of, but still aggravating.
Any one know where to get replacement molding/seals for the sliding windows on both sides? Also curious what the rain gutters covers do as well as why there seem to be v shaped cuts in the seals.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
