Lead Or No lead

I have a 1969 6hp evinrude motor and my manual say to run lead gas . Now I know I am not even going to atemp to use lead aditive . But what oil should I buy and any fuel aditive octane boster ? Dont want to burn it up. I know the lead help out in the lube deptartment Thks bb

you want to run TCW-3 outboard motor oil mixed 50-1, 87 octane unleaded fuel. keep the carbs clean, lower unit oil changed, with new plug washers, and it should run another 40 years.
