East Coast of new Zealand, sndy beach with no boat ramp... just a sloping track to the water.First, bolt around six slabs of flotation foam wrapped in ali to the trailer. Afix a car sized jockey wheel to the draw bar, tie the boat to the trailer. push the boat to the edge of the beach access, hop in and hang in like hell... as soon as the boat and trailer hits the water lower the outboard and head for deeper water. drop the anchor on the TRAILER, unstrap the boat and reverse off. The trailer will float ready for our return...

Sounds like some good kiwi ingenuity there kiwiguy. I hope you're using #8 fencing wire somewhere in there....

Hows the weather in Aussie ? It's blowing a gale here in Auckland today.
