Last Blast in South West OHIO Anyone?

Well they are calling for 80 degree weather and lots of sun in south west OHIO this weekend. I guess a lot of other places too but this is where I'm at. I am thinking Caesars creek or Brookville lake. Any IBoats members getting out this weekend. Looks to me like this might be our last shot for a really warm boating weekend. They are talking about a fastboat thing on CL for saturday at Brookville near the dam. That might be fun to watch. But my boat likes smooth water and Brookville always seems a bit rough to me. So I dont know where to go, but I'm going somewhere. What ya'll think ?

I never really knew anything about C J Brown. Just googled it and it looks pretty nice. I will try to get up there next season and check it out.

Not in southeastern Ohio, but I will probably head to Either Indian Lake or Buckeye lake tomarrow or monday,.

I plan on taking our Suntracker PB 20 out one last time. We'll be putting in at Wellman Meadows hopefully around 9:00 and get out at about 1:00 before it gets crazy.

We'll be cruising the lake and doing a little fishing. It's juuuuust a little nippy to get INTO the water right now .

Well guys it was a wonderful day at the lake today. I went to Caesars creek and had the lake pretty much to myself. Looked crowded when I first got there as there was a lot of trailers in the lot. But they must have a been mostly fishing boats as there wasnt many running around on the lake. The water was a bit cool but I did wade in it a bit and it didnt feel to bad after a min or two. Sorry about you guys that winterized your boats already you missed a nice one. later, Jack..

The Ohio Renaissance Festival is on now too. The understand the CG at Caesar Creek is full this weekend.

We had the Sterling Renaissance fair every weekend from the first of July to mid August. It brings in people from all over. If your going, You and DW have a good time.

Well Ren. Fair is going on and so is the Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville and yesterday the hill climbs in Oregonia. So it was a busy day over there. We made it to the Sauerkraut Festival for part of the day on the way home from a wedding in Cleveland. CC looked awesome when we went across the 73 bridge, made me really jealous.
