Larson 270 Cabrio vs Wellcraft 260 se

Cant decide between a 1999 Larson 270 Cabrio or a 1998 Wellcraft 260 se.
BTW, this will be my first boat.
I really don't want to pay to survey both as the surveyor wants $17/foot.
Does anyone have opinions or experiences they can share regarding these boats.
I did notice the swim platform had a soft spot on the Larson.

i have considered Wellcraft to be a better boat, but at the age you are looking, condition trumps brand.

which one do you like better in term of layout, amenities, etc.?

what power packages do they have? Any big difference there?
