when i got to florida in february my jack plate went down then stopped working. wheh i got home, i started messing with it and got it moving again.i had to tap the motor with a hammer while trying to move it to bring the motor to life again. before that, the motor would just click when engaged. it's my first jack plate(used boat)and i'm not sure how fast it should move. this one seems slow. it takes about 20 seconds to travel from down to up(6 inches). is this normal? also, i checked the fluid in the motor and it's white and milky. if any of you have any ideas please enlighten me! thanks...james
