Any information on these lakes, pertaining to bass, would be very much appreciated. I've fished Monroe many times in the last year or so, as it is about the closest fresh water to me, but I've had minimal luck at best. The only information I've been able to find so far, is from a local guide that was posted a few years back and it really only pertained to spring fishing. Any tips, or advice on patterns etc. would be greatly appreciated.

As far as Jesup is concerned, I've been on it a few times in the last year as well and haven't caught one fish, so again, any sort of useful information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Have you tried live Wild Golden Shiners?

What kind of artificials are you throwing?

I'm not really into live bait for bass fishing. As far as artificials, I've thrown everything in the tackle box. Top water, whether it be frogs, spooks, or buzzers in all colors over matted vegetation and the numerous eel grass beds. Soft plastic worms and lizards, mostly junebug and watermellon colored. Spinners and rattletraps along weed edges... I've tried most everything I can really think of, tbh.
