Lakes in Little Rock AR?

Hello all, I'm new to the forum... well, to boating in general. I just purchased my first bass boat so I'm ready to do something other than fishing along the banks. Does anyone know of any good Bass fishing lakes around Little Rock AR where I can try out my new boat? Thanks for the input!

I'd kill to fish Conway, drove over it a few times on the way to Bentonville. It's stumpy though, so be careful if you go. Lake Maumelle is right outside of Little Rock too. The AR River runs right through LR but I'd hold off on any river trips 'till you're more familar with boating. There is a lake called Grassy Lake between LR and Conway but I'm not sure if it's public or the conditions of the lake.

Awesome! Thats a great start... Conway it is, stumpy is great for bass fishing. I'll let you know how it goes.
