Lake Sara, Effingham, ILL.

HI,
Does anyone know the water quality above the bridge in Shumway cove? On Google, it looks murky and different than the lower main body of the lake. Not many homes up there. Just wondering of it tends to be more stagment due to the small entry under the road bridge. Does it smell? Are there fish up there?

i havent been there in about a year but from what i remember the water is not deep enough to take a boat over there. i think it even stats to get real shalow even on the other side of the bridge.

Thanks. There aren't many homes up there but the few that have docks and boats are pretty close to the bridge.

they all have docks and boats but they cant get them out half the year since the water level fluctuates a few feet throughout the summer
