I'm heading to Lake Pleasant (Arizona) next weekend, and I'm hoping someone can pass along some helpful tips. I've been more or less skunked the last 6 tries (caught 3 my last time out).

I'll be staying all night, fishing from a boat with the drive motor only no trolling motor(s),.... so any help would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Re: Lake Pleasant Striper Fishing

LOL Yea I sure as hell need some ideas as well.

I was just there again this past Friday night and NOTHING to be had. No bites hits or misses.

The biggest bass I cought this year was 14" and maby like 2 pounds. I want to catch something out there like maby 16 inches and maby like 3 to 5 pounds before I even think about taking one home.

Cought a few babies at around 6" long. My friend cought a 10 pound Carp that was excitign but and ugly *** fish...Fight was fun to watch.

Been out to pleasent quite a lot this year and has been the 1st year in over 10 that Ive goen fishing since I had my last boat. Now that I got my new boat I try and go as often as I can but Im not sure whats going on with the weather. Is it too cold now for night fishing?

We didnt even get the schools of minows we did in late July.
Problably will try again next week, maby Ill try to head out before the sun goes down as I always say that and by the tiem I get there its already dark. I have a feeling the action is just before it gets dark now.

( I do have lights white lights and everyone uses green ) is that another problem?
