Lake of the Woods in September

Going up to Lake of the Woods, Sioux Narrows area, in early September. I have never been up there in the fall---Any tips or info???? Looking to get into smallies and pike mainly but would take a 56 inch muskie if he would show up(lol)---Just looking to see if anyone has done a fall trip up there and what seemed to work --Thanks

souix narrows and nester falls are both good,,,get local map and go back in as far as you can on any of the lakes...find where streams enter,,,,used to go up there every year,,,,so many lakes!!!!

Going to be at Sioux Narrows---Gone there for years but never in the Fall--Looking forward to the trip just thought I would see if anyone had any tips for FALL fishing????

Morning is the best time for Muskie. I have fished bwca, gun flint trail, Canada. I always had the best bites in the morning.

You can bet your last dollar---WE will be on the wate at daybreak and not come off till dark---thanks for the advice. Will post when we get back and let you know how we did.
