Going to a conference in Vegas and have a Sunday to shoot.
Lake Mead in mid-May??
Anyone ever fish there?
Did you use a guide? Recommend anyone?
What bite is on mid-May?

KaGee, I have not been fishing there for a few years and would love to again soon. I will be fishing in a striper tournament the 18,19 &20 of may in Havasu but at mead the stripers should be bite like crazy then. I will check and see if anybody knows of a good guide that fishes there.

Kagee, anywhere near the dam. Stripers will bite anything you put in the water. BIG stripers.

What date do you plan on fishing on? I know in the western outdoor news this guide always reports in the fish report section do not know anything about him but see his name alot (John Woods) anglers edge guide service. my best fishing on mead is always mid may
trolling, and catching some very large stripers.
I was boating mead constantly for several years, now I live near lake mojave. and I am still learning this lake, mojave. one thing good, is the water level on mojave changes very little compared to mead.

KaGee, did you do any fishing there at Mead? I was at Havasu the 18 thru the 21st. Did ok on the striper on the 18 and 19th then the wind kicked in real hard. Just wondering if you did get a chance to fish at all.
