We moved from Michigan to Georgia and I am trying to Bass fish on Lake Lanier with no luck. The lakes in Mi have lots of structure, but Lanier just seems deep with no structure.
Where are the best places to fish for LM Bass on Lanier. I usually use a Texas rig or top water & cranks.

Try fishing up the rivers,I have had little luck on the lower lake. Toto creek area up the chesatee river has always been a good area to me.

Hey, I had to check and see if it was me that started this thread. I moved from Michigan to GA too! Yeah the fishing in GA is quite different NO lakes here(only impoundments). I've been doing pretty well this week, fishing points and "humps". My next goal is to figure out how to catch Walleyes on Lanier or yellow perch anywhere around here. Bass are fun, but I rather catch "eatin" fish!
