We boat on Lake St Clair in Southwestern Ontario. There is a weather buoy in the middle you can access on the computer and it gives all kinds of info including wind speed, direction, wave height and intervals and air and water temperatures. The lake is now app 56 degrees and great weather forecast all this coming week.

Soooooo, hoping to get out next Sunday for the first run of the season!!!!

Hope we have a real good summer this year. Last summer wasn't all that good followed by an absolutely horrible winter in Florida. Gotta make up for many months of lost time on the water!!!

In the middle as in way way off shore middle of the lake? I was fishing in Anchor Bay 4/29-5/2 and surface temp was 52 on 4/29; 58 on 5/2. Can you post a link to that buoy? Thanks.

Re: Lake is warming up!

Just checked again, lake is now 65 so looks like we may be out tomorrow!!!

The buoy is in the middle of the lake but it is a small lake and shallow.

It is NDBC Station Number 45147. I initially got to it by googling weather station lake st clair.

Called it up and the header is

www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=45147

Hope it works for you.

It is in the midle midle. Funny how you said small and shallow. I agreed that it's shallow but not small by my standard. It's still way bigger then anything we got. Too bad the other two stations closer to shore don't show water temp. Thanks for the link.
