I had a friend who had just bought a new american skier tournament boat. Well we decided to go to go to the lake for the day with a bunch of friends. Well we got to the ramp and he was all proud of his boat of course, but in showing off his boat he decided to just decided to get in the boat and another friend backed the boat into the water. In being so hasty he put the rear plug in, but forgot to put the center screw plug in. So in went the boat and away went the trailer and truck. My friend with the new boat was showing it off and checking out all the nice opptions when we told him that it looked like the boat was ridding to low in the water. My friend soon relized that he was sinking and had forgoten the center plug!! he motioned for us to get the trailer and as fast as we could push people off the ramp he drove his nice new inboard at mock speed right up onto the trailer!! ya he got it on the trailer and bent the cajon bow stops, but the boat didn't sink. We spent the next 2 hours cleaning the boat due to the 2 feet of water that had accumulated in the boat. my friend nor any of us who own inboard ski boats, will never forget to put any of the plugs in or check all the equipment on our boats
