My wife and I are headed to lake havasu at the end of the month. I've never been there but I've been told I should drop her at Havasu Springs heading up river to Havasu and check out the London Bridge continuing further up river to the Grand Canyon. Does anyone know where I can get maps for this?

Since your in Murrieta, CA, West Marine in riverside ca should have them or i believe i just seen them at Inland Boat Center in perris ca. Call to be sure though.;)

Also check out Bass pro shop in rancho cucamonga.

Are you going memorial day weekend? if so, it will be extremely crowded but fun.:)

Be safe.:)

FT

Thanks for the heads up. You just mentioned my 2nd & 3rd homes. Gives me an excuse to go to BP. We are going the following weekend.

Re: Lake Havasu

Hanging out at the canal at the bridge you'll see a lot of eye candy for sure. If you are heading up north to the sand bar from Havasu I would wait at the end of the lake and fallow someone up the river. It can be shallow and it has shifting sand bars, be careful. As for the Grand Canyon, you would have to be on Lake Mead for that and even now the lake is to low to make that trip. When Mead is up you can go up the Colorado river as far as Seperation Canyon, about 35-40 miles into the Grand Canyon. There is a marker in the water there that tells you thats as far as you can go. Have fun be safe, cops will be every where
