Lake George or Winni suggestions

Was looking to do a short trip one/two nights up to one of the big lakes and was wondering if anyone has suggeestions as to where to stay with boating access or a dock.
The wife is willing to give it a shot so I better make it nice! She like salt water better than fresh so I have to make a good impression...LOL

There are a LOT of hotels on lake george with docks for guests

I like it closer to the town of lake george they have a web sight with all the info

We allways camp there on the state islands so i cant really say which hotels are better BUT they come in all price ranges



I have beeen to winni in NH if thats what your talking about and have allways found it really packed

Both places have bike weeks which is a bad time to go as its PACKED those weeks

As i said on your other board posting lake george has so much more to do but it is alot more expensive
