Anyone have some decent GPS coordinates for Lake Erie smallmouths? I would launch from small boat harbor on the northeast corner. I know of the documented shoals on the lake so I'm looking for some subtle offshore humps on the USA side of the lake. I would catch and release only. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Lake Erie Smallmouth

Maybe someone will send you a private message with a location.

I'm not really secretive about fishing spots, but I would never post the gps coordinates of one in a public place. I might describe the area in public, but I think it's wrong to post coordinates.

There's been too much of that lately, and going to many lakes these days is like an old-timers' convention, with pods of boats around all the hot spots.

I don't care, because I know other spots, but there's a real movement against posting GPS coordinates.

Maybe someone will send you something in a private message, though.

Did you ever get any replies? Even general locations would be helpful.

Where ever you go, find you some gobies.
They are what the smallies are feeding on now in Erie.
And drop shot them babies.
