anybody try those ladder gaurds?you know that keeps ladder off house?as cheapo guides for a trailer,bought one at flea market sunday$ 8.00 seem plentifull one guy sold them new in box 15 bucks just cut then pvc and u bolts , who sells u bolts with variety of sizes my hardware store just has basic offerings.

trailer repair shops. i use the old legs off a trapoline,

NAPA has a large variety of u-bolts. At my store they have almost all the sizes in stock. Weird sizes too.

since were all here ,do any of you know who has aluminum sheet say. 050 or so?need to replace short transom on grumman i have a 14' gss model with tall motor transom and a 16' w/short noticed only differance was a saddle cut in the short model the corners were same 21" i'm going to get 3/4 marine ply and fill whole area then overlap the sheet metal over front and back sides clapboard style i also would like to find new channel to cover top .any help please jump in thanks

i found mine locally by calling around to sheet metal shops. i wanted a transom protector. it's sold by the pound. there are some sites the sell it in sheets of different sizes, google aluminum you'll find them.
