Ladder for Jon Boat?

I have a 16 ft jon boat that I use for fishing. The kids want to swim off it but I have no ladder for them to reboard.

Any recommendations on ladders that work well with jon boats?

Thanks, bhammer, but I think I don't have enough room on my transom for that. I was hoping for something smaller.

I saw something in a local boat store that was like a stirrup. It looked small enough but maybe too flexible -- if it goes under the boat when you step on it I don't see how it would work.

Okay, kind of thought that may be a little too big. I'd do a Goggle for small boat ladder and see what comes up. If I remeber, overtons has some small ladders that just hook over the transom and can be removed and stored when not in use.

If the kiddos are able, you might want to try a rope ladder or something along those lines but as you indicated, it may be difficult for them to get the hang of.

I use this style ladder on my jon boat, and it works very well. Just hook and climb in.
P.S. dont forget to take it off before getting underway, I have now had to buy a second ladder
