I HAVE A 1989 BAYLINER 120 HP IN LINE 4 CYL L DRIVE THAT THE POWER HEAD NEEDS REPLACING. CAN ANYONE OUT THER TELL ME IF I CAN USE ANY OUTBOARD MOTOR 120 HP THRU 150 HP MERC FORCE NEWER THAN A 1989 AND JUST USE THE POWER HEAD. IS THIS POSSIBLE. I HAVE A GOOD CONDITION LOWER UNIT. RAN STRAIGHT GAS (PUT IN BY MISTAKE BY THE MARINA) LOST COMPRESSION IN THE #1 CYL AND FIGURE THAT THE REST OF THE MOTOR IS PROBABALY SHOT. ALSO DOES ANY ONE KNOW IF THE MARINA IS RESPONSIBLE? THIS HAPPENED IN ARKANSAS. THEY WERE TOLD TO PUT IN MIXED BUT DIDN'T REALIZE IT WAS A L DRIVE AND THOUGHT THAT IT NEEDED STRAIGHT GAS. THEY THOUGHT THAT IT WAS AN I/0. CAN ANYONE HELP ME. I AM LOOKING AT SMALL CLAIMS COURT IN ARK. SHOULD I LOOK FOR ANOTHER MOTOR OR JUST GET A POWER HEAD. EITHER WAY THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE MISTAKE. WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO LOOK FOR A WRECKED BOAT THAT WOULD HAVE A GOOD MOTOR?<br />THANKS
