--------------------------------------------------------------------------------<br />Hey I'm going to Litchfield for the weekend and wanted to know what you thought about the fishing there? I have been going for the past two years and the only thing that I have seen are Flounder. And with the creeks filling in like they are it's getting even harder to do that. Is there anything else to fish for in that area. I have a 14foot john boat with a 15hp down there but I have a 17ft centerconsole that I can bring down if I thoought there were some other fishing that is good in the area. Just don't know where or when or how (what to fish with). Can you help a fellow fisherman out. And if anybodyelse out there has a suggestion let me know

Not familliar with the area but you can also catch Redfish(spottail bass/red drum/chanell bass/ Hope I left no name out) and other species all along the SC coast. I also find sheepshead small black drum and an ocasional small trout this time of year. Come back in a month and the trout should start tearing up. Places to look are creeks and bays off the intercoastal waterway. You can sight fish the redfish (catch an ocasional trout and flounder too) in the grass during a high tide and the flats on a low. Use live mud minnows, finger mullet, shrimp (if you can get some good sized ones) or use artificials like grubs, soft jerkbaits, gold spoons and mirror lures.
