I'm attempting a volvo conversion from a king cobra. I also need to replace the gimbal housing and ring...(everything that gets wet) It would appear that a king upper will bolt up to a std gimbal and vice versa. Will a std gimbal bolt up to a king inner transom plate (460) I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to have to find a king gimbal or if anything else (easier to find) will work. It also appears that the engine will have to come out to gain access to the nuts on inner plate which are on the gimbal studs, sure wish they were on the outside instead of the inside. Can you can get to these if you remove exhaust?<br /><br />Thoughts ? Thanks
