kill switch question

Hi I have a 85 Charger with a 86 Force 125, this boat is not equipped with a kill switch to my knowledge, is there a way to put one on and where can I purchase one? I fish touraments and it is required even if it is not, be nice to have incase of ?? thanks

Some later engines had a kill switch mounted right in the control box below the key.

At any rate, the blue and the white wires attached to the "M" terminals on the ignition switch are the stop circuit.

Buy a kill switch that is "open" with the lanyard attached and "closed" when man overboard. I think this is standard.

Mount it anywhere you want and wire it in parallel to the blue and white wires. That is, One lead to the "M" terminal with the blue wire and the second lead to the "M" terminal with the white. Simple.
