Kill switch for 81 10 HP Honda

Does any one know anything about replacing a kill switch in the tiller arm of an older 81 B100 honda 10 Horse? I somehow have lost the rubber boot and who know's what else inside probably a contact. I have been told I cant get one? By our friendly Dealer, In Washington, around here there is water everywhere and the Honda Dealer Only works on motorcycles. At least they don't want to even look at the motor. This motor has around 15 hours on it.Truly.Dealer said motor is to old to fool with,wants to sell me a new one,that he won't fix.Can I just buy a generic one from IBOATS? is there any trick to putting one in? THANKS

Welcome to Iboats forum fellow Bremertonian.<br />I guess you tried Brother's dealer on the west side? I tried to get parts for my bf75l which is a 84 and kind of the same engine as the b100, but they were way in too dirt & street bikes to and the guy helping me could not get into the honda boat motor section to order my parts?<br />Try Sande boat works in Belfair or Bay marine in Poulsbo.
