Kill Switch / Can't Start ?

I just purchased a 2002 Skeeter SL210 from my father-n-law. He told me never to take out the key or kill switch because it is very hard to start afterward. Obviously I couldn't keep it in forever and he was right! I took it out and havent been able to start it since. I put the kill switch right back, crank the key and nothing happens. I have tried for hours....Any special switch or trick that I dont know about??<br />Please help!<br />Steve
