Maybe this should be in the good new section but I thought DC could use it more...........................................<br /> The local 5th & 6th graders decided not to exchange gifts this year. Instead they made blankets and delivered them to the residents of the nursing home. Also I am proud to say that our church, which has an average congregation of 7-15 people, gave around 50 hats and mittens to children of low income families, care baskets to all the shut ins in town, and a large supply of canned goods to the food pantry. And that is what Christmas is all about. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Yep, nothing better than giving to those less fortunate, IMO.

Re: Kids with hearts

One of my nieces called this morning to say that she would'nt be attending our family christmas day celebrations because she's going to be helping out at a soup kitchen, i told that it was a very admirable thing to do,and to go for it, but she had better not miss my new years eve party :)
