Kicker steering

I have a Starcraft Holiday i/o for some times now i have been trying to figure out a steering system that would work on my boat i have been using a connector but it,s a problem with tilt a hydraulic would work,but engine could collided together if the main swings to port it is not hydraulic,what do you people think about a dual cable steering i think that would work great,since its a four stroke kicker all control from the helm.
