Kicker motor making my boat "hot"?

I think I have a "hot boat"! You know, the motor or something is charging my boat with positive energy.
The only thing I don't have grounded directly to the battery is my 8 horse Honda kicker. I have the charging cable hooked up directly to the battery, but I fear that my boat is charged, effecting my fish catching ability when I am running the kicker.

Anyone have any thoughts on this problem, and what is the best way to ground a kicker to the battery?

LOL! Is your hair standing on end? What makes you think your boat has a net positive charge?

Once again: LOL! It's quite entertaining - the ideas anglers will come up with to explain a bad day on the water. Even funnier is how a good day on the water always is attributed to skill.

Not poking fun at you - seriously, no offense. I'm just a natural born skeptic. (Although I DO believe in galvanic corrosion).
