Kicker motor lift and steering

I have a Honda BF8 kicker on my 2002 Sport-Craft 241. I have it installed with a manual lift bracket (a pain) and an EZ-Steer connecting rod (a bigger pain). I have seen products from Panther Marine Products that I'm interested in and want to find out if anyone has any experience with them and knows any pricing info. They have an electric motor lift (Model 35) and a remote controlled electric steering unit (Panther 100 Electro Steer). I'm not sure how much this setup will cost me but it seems like it would make the kicker a lot more useful. Its virtually impossible to put the EZ-Steer rod on in rough water and no matter what they say it can't stay attached all the time. Its also a real workout to raise and lower the kicker with the Garelick bracket even though its the best on out there.

Thanks,

Re: Kicker motor lift and steering

Can't help you with the steering situation, but I use a OMC spring assist kicker bracket with an 8hp and it works like a champ. It makes raising or lowering the kicker easy.
