We just purchased a 2003 Key Largo 160 CC and cannot figure out how to drain the cockpit. The boat will be kept in the water on mooring whips.
The bilge pump works, and the anchor locker has a drain into the bilge, I believe.

But we just hosed it down, and the water stays in the cockpit!
The previous owner put some cheap decking on the floor, so I don't know if there is a drain into the bilge.

There are two cockpit drains on the transom which work fine to drain the boat while underway.

My question is:
How should it drain when docked? Seems like multiple heavy rains
will sink it.
I have never seen a boat like this.
Please help!!!!

Thanks everyoneboat1.jpegboat2.jpeg

I think I solved this... Someone told me just to take the plugs OUT when the boat is sitting in the water..
So, most of the water drains out.

as long as the back isnt weighed down and those deck plugs are above the water, removing them to drain is what they are there for :)

Those scuppers should typically be open, and when at rest should sit over the water line. Your bilge pump should handle what you're dealing with now ... but as far as rain goes a good cockpit cover would be the ticket.
