Yes the Kawasaki 650 SC is a great family machine, you can take smaller children on next to you.
The Sport Cruiser was made from 1991 to 1995 and has the same 650 twin cylinder engine as all the 650's.
They are getting harder to find but keep your eye out on eBay and BoatTrader.com.
Expect to pay $1200 to $2000 for a good running one.
I have two sc's - one stock and one modified to run about 40mph.
