What is the correct spark plug for a kawi 750? I put two new plugs in (the same as the last) before going to the lake this weekend, and one of my pistons hit the top of the plug, and closed the gap. I re gapped it and it ran fine the rest of the day, I'm thinking maybe i have the wrong plugs in it. I don't think they are supposed to be that close to the piston.

only one did this?? better look for play in the rod bearing, remove the plugs and rotate the engine by hand till the piston just passes top dead center and starts to go down, then use a screwdriver and push on the top of the piston, if you hear or feel a clunk when you push on the piston, it is time for a new crank, or if you keep running it you will destroy the engine.

Yea, that's what i was afraid of untill i gapped it just like the other plug and it never did it again all day. So i figured maybe the one plug was gapped wrong but i will check the piston for play just to be safe.
